As Excel’s Owner and Director of physical therapy, Brian brings over 21 years of experiencing specializing in musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries. A native of Smithtown, Brian received his Masters in Physical Therapy from Touro College, earning the honor of class valedictorian. He has built his practice around a “hands on approach” in delivering care for his patients. He has become a trusted physical therapist for many of Long Island’s and Manhattan’s Orthopedic Surgeons when it comes to the care of their families and patients.
Brian has been caring for many of Long Island’s athletes for over 21 years. He works closely with many of LI’s top Orthopedics and believes in communication with the parents, athlete and coaches is the recipe for safe return the their choice of sport. He has been trusted with the treatment of many of Long Island’s most accomplished baseball players, spanning all levels of play. He has become the “go to guy” for players and coaches seeking the most knowledgeable care provider for baseball related issues.

Stephen Cicalese, MPT,DPT,CKTP
Stephen Cicalese, MPT, DPT, CKTP A New York licensed Physical Therapist practicing primarily in outpatient orthopedics and sport therapy for the past ten years. Stephen holds a master of Physical Therapy degree Quinnipiac University (2005) and went on to complete his Doctorate Degree at Temple University in 2013. He possesses a number of tools to treat common and complicated orthopedic cases, which include being a Certified Kinesio* taping practitioner (CKTP) through the Kinesio* Taping Association.
Stephen continually enriches his knowledge with continuing classes in all aspects of orthopedic assessment and treatment strategies. He works tirelessly with patients of all ages, including high school and collegiate athletes, whom have suffered from an orthopedic or sport related injuries. His goal is to achieve optimal results in order to return these patients to work, the field and activities of daily living.
